It really caused some talk here in Boston, where people really don't know what to make of it. It has caused a previously unseen underlying latticework of Mosrite collectors and afficionados to come out of the woodwork.
I'm bending every effort to getting another one... this time a Road to Ruin model, but with the experimental addition of the Shade Trem that I'm addicted to.
Now that tortoise pickguard idea is really interesting. I wonder if Bob does 'em for Road to Ruins? I liked the look of tortoiseshell on the surf pearl; a little strange, but in a quaint old-fashioned way, like the Fifties and Sixties vision of the future in general. (Still waiting for that folding airplane in every garage!)
