I'll bet collecting the check is somewhere towards the top.

I'm sure you'd also suggest: getting away from the wife? ;-)

Hey ElTwang, gplayer,
Ya know, I love every thing about guitar building, you get to do
so many cool and different things, woodworking, custom painting, metal work,
electronics and you even get to play it when you're finish.
And like you guys were saying, the pay check aint bad and I can escape
out to the shop when I'm in trouble with the wife.

If I had a shop that size in my back yard, I'd probably live out there. ;)

Trent, I think I can make out 8/4" on the board but usually a mosrite body is 1-5/8" thick.

Thanks Kevin. Was wondering if the German Carve added a little thickness to the body, requiring a thicker body blank.

On the body that I got it's 1-5/8" thick and the german carve starts at 1/2" from the top.

I'd bet an escape over to the lake ain't bad either. I was checking that lake on the internet and it looks like you live in a dream place Eddy. ;)
