I haven't had a chance to check them out yet, so I really can't say personally. These are the same one's Ed Roman was selling and there are guy's on the forum here that have Fillmore Mosrites and I have never heard anything bad about them. My understanding is, they are about as close to an original as you are going to get here in the USA. Maybe Artie (bakeoboy) will chime in here and give us some more information.

So Fillmore cut all ties with Roman? Is Front Porch now the sole distributor of Fillmore? Also, where does this put Mosrite USA, in the mix? I think I'm getting confused. :?

You are not alone. There are several entities that are seeking to get on the Mosrite band wagon.

Okay. Enough of the guessing. Thanks for the phone number, Danny. I picked up the phone and called Artie. I told him the Mosrite Forum has a need to know. He laughed.
They haven't arrived yet. But the basic gist: There will be Rangers and "American", which will be the model Dana will be putting together. Rangers will be around $1700 give or take, and the "American" more than $2500. but less than $3000. Artie has yet to arrive at a final price. They are both based on the '65 Ventures Style (Mark 1) in 3-tone burst, pearl white, black, ink blue and candy apple red.
There will also be the Ramones style guitars, and not sure what will be the price on those, but cheaper than the Mark 1.

Thanks for the update Strat-o-rama. I think Artie might do a better job at representing the line better than Ed Roman. Maybe more honestly.
