Selling my 1967 Mosrite Combo Mk 1. Serial 41190 dating it to late 1967. In pretty good condition. Some knocks and scrapes in the paint. Average for a guitar this age. Comes with padded gig bag. I don't have a hard case for it. Looks all original. Minimal fret wear. May have been refretted at some point in it's life.
Moseley tremolo system. Electronics could probably use a cleaning. It hums a little and the pots are a little scratchy. The hardware has a little tarnish from age, which adds to the vintage mojo of this guitar. Original pickups that have that surf sound.
$1600 shipped.
PM if interested. Thanks.

I'm interested - I'm looking for a Mosrite Combo and I live in Sydney Australia which probably creates postage hassles as it would be too big for USPS if shipped as a complete unit. If you are interested, can you contact me directly at rupston@optusnet.com.au.

Bump. No reasonable offers yet. Would prefer not to ship overseas. I need this thing gone. If it's not marketable as-is, maybe it's better to part it out on EBay. I'll go to $1450 shipped. Buying another guitar and need to make room by letting the Combo go.

Gadzooks, someone buy this thing! I'd go for it, except I just got one. So at least I can vouch for how cool these are. A touch mellower than the solid bodies, but twang a-plenty.

Re: FS: 1967 Combo Mk 1 Sunburst
it's definately a cool guitar. Just have too many. I love Mosrites and have since I was a teenager. I just don't play this one enough to keep it. It was a nostalgic purchase but I realized that it's just sitting there and I need to make room for players not nostalgia.
Make me a reasonable offer. I will go $1350 + shipping (actual) if that gets someone interested that will love and play it!!

The gangster looks so frightening, with his luger in his hand
When he gets home to his children, he's a family man
But when it comes to the nitty-gritty, he can shove in his knife
Yes he really looks quite religious, he's been an outlaw all his life
