My name is Bernd and I´m a pickup winder from Germany.
Every now and then I´m getting a request for repairing/rewinding Mosrite pickups.
I registered here to search for information and I´m also willing to share pics and specs.

Hi Berndt .. welcom to the forum ! We've had some interesting discussions on here between pickup people about silver wire versus copper .. most educational .. it was a bit of a mystery to me , but then we like pictures and to learn a little too!

Hi Bernd and welcome to the forum.
Well, it's good to see you do your homework, as it is my pickup you will receive for repair this week =)
And to the rest of the forum, can you please point us in the right direction with this? I've already sent the pickup to have it 'repaired' and it came back (after 6 months of waiting!) with 4,7 kOhms...you can imagine how disappointed I was...'Yay, it's back. Nay, it still doesn't work'
So today the pickup will be sent to Bernd and I hope he can reanimate it as far to original specs as possible.
