1970, you may want to check out this bass thread that I started a while back viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1218&hilit=some+superficial I'm mainly a guitar player myself and do not own a Mosrite bass. I do however, own a 1962 Reissue Fender P Bass in sunburst and a Ventures model Aria VMB-75 bass CAR and love 'em both.
Your bass was built around the same time as mine. The body on my bass is stamped 8/25/65 and the neck was stamped the same date as yours! You should turn the bridge cover around. The angled side is supposed to be on the top so it follows the look of the neck and pickup angle.
