Forum member El Twang and his band El Ray are in California touring this week. I had the chance to meet the band over some lunch before the gig and even check out the Elliott RS model guitar. The band is tight and it was a great show. Any members in the southern California area, go see them!

Re: El Ray in California!
As Mel points out, El Ray is on the loose in California. That includes a visit to and performance at KFJC 89.7-FM on the evening of Aug. 4.
Check out the recording of their live show from the radio station's archives at KFJC.org. The El Ray set begins at about 4:00 into the recording.

Re: El Ray in California!
Hi all,
It was totally fun stuff to visit Casa Mel and, holy moses, Mel has some cool gear. I got a chance to play and listen to the Meshugga M3. Really really cool guitar and I'm amazed how well the the tri-pups works! Really nice Strat'ish and Jazzmaster tones on tap with all the classic Mosrite tones. We did a little guitar swapping.
