Hi there - I've been a fan of Mosrite guitars ever since I made the link between the cool blue guitar on the back of the first B-52s album, the white guitar Johnny Ramone was playing when I saw the Ramones in 1980 and The Ventures !!
30 years later, I'm restoring and building guitars outside Boston in a converted former textile mill. I own a handful of Mosrites - a '65 1-pickup Ventures Bass, a hacked (literally) '65 Ventures 12-string converted to a 6-string, and a Japanese "Mosrite" copy. Had a pretty nice Univox at one point also - an early one, but sold that to pay for something !
Look forward to participating here and was very happy to see some folks building Mosrite replicas from scratch !

Welcome guitargarage. It's great to see someone else from Mass here and a Luthier also! I'm in the western part of Mass.When I can't do a repair myself I go to Steve Sauve who is also in a converted mill. Maybe you've heard of Steve?Anyway,welcome to the forum
