I commented on the humbucking pickups. Have you ever noted much of a difference tonally between these maple/humbuckered Celebritys and the traditional single coil Celebrity 1s?
Hope I'm not hijacking here, but our new member may find this info of interest as well.
The particular model that is being played in the video has by pass switches so you would get a lot more variation in tone. I have not played one of these but I know there are forum members who own them. I would love to have one because I'm sure they would be very versatile. In my opinion the Celebrity I's and hollowbody Gospels, made from the same platform, are the best of the Celebrity models. They play beautifully and sound great. That is not to say the thinline models are bad in any way, they are just different. The older single coil Celebrities need to be paired with the right amp to really get their sound to come alive. When I played mine through a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe it just didn't cut it. But, playing it through a Vox AD15VT it sounded great. I am guessing that may be why Mosrite made solid state amps.
