Was stuck between Fender & Gibson for years, but now I see!

Postby khai123 » Mon May 21, 2012 4:02 pm

I have a '61 Epiphone Olympic, a Gibson Les Paul Jr, a 1975 Gibson Les Paul Standard, Fender Mexi Standard Strat, a No-Name Old Tele, and had a Gibson SG-1. But then I played a friends Hallmark Johnny Ramone Sig. and 60 Custom and now I'm selling the '61 Epiphone, sold the SG-1, and trying to get rid of a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe. The Ramones are my favorite band, but I never really thought of getting a guitar like Johnny's. But now I need one! Not because of the connection, but the sound and playability are that of a dream! Gibson Scale, Fender-like body, Gibson/Fender/Gretsch like pickups, and that super cool headstock. Mosrites are now in my blood!

Thanks,
Eyan

Feel right at home Eyan, welcome ;)

BTW, a "No-Name Old Tele" could be worth BIG bucks. You know about a "Nocasters", I hope :D
