Nice photos! The first photos show a much more battle-scarred example, although the finish seems to be the primary victim. I've been trying to learn about the qualities of various woods, but websites don't seem to care about "working the wood". Good to know about this property of Wenge...thanks!

Here's a prime example of forum members helping forum members. This guitar was found in the UK, and with the persistence of three forum members (coanda, stevestrings and handbrake) it has found its way home to the International House of Brass Rails. (Funny, I just got a sudden urge for pancakes...)

Aged chocolate indeed. The attention to detail on this choco Mosrite is what spared it from being munched all these years.

The brass rail Mosrite info and pictures are fantastic I was not at all aware of a mid-70's Mosrite ressurgence.

Though I don't own one, perhaps Adam has some more photos of this one. I think he's more active on Facebook than he is here, but you probably asked him there already. I haven't signed in to Facebook for a while.
