Introduction

Postby JimWagner » Fri Oct 28, 2011 9:01 am

Hi My name is Jm Wagner. I have played in local bands in DC, MD and VA fo r40 years. I was self taught guitar like many of us, by Ventures records (Of which I have at least 60 if not more). My main instruments are Strats (4) with a Marshall stack and V4 Ampeg amps. I have a hand made Mosrite, which I went to Jonas Ridge, NC in 84 or 85 and picked up personally from Semi himself. Very nice gentleman and picker, big man also. I'm new to this forum thing but I'm proud of my Mosrite, being a Ventures fan and love to talk about them with others who understand what it is to be this type of person. Oh, as I said I'm new to this forum stuff and a big thanx to Danny for the help getting here. Jim

Welcome Jim, don't worry about being new to the forum thing. You came to the best forum to start out with. Everyone is great here. Many of us also grew up with the Ventures.

Glad to have you here. You'll have to further share your experience of meeting Semie, and picking up that guitar.
