I get them off eBay. Here's a set from Zamminc. These are not the exact ones I've used but are very close. I cannot find the ones I used listed on eBay. Bridge post and inserts

I got a set of these (they're useful for a couple bridges) and I did find a set of Mosrite bridge posts as well. My lucky day!

SO, how did you actually make the bridge? Did you thin the channel down to Mosrite specs? Are the saddles just aluminum rod cut to size? Just curious as I'm thinking of expanding into some metal working too for bridges and things that I can't find.

Are you going to chrome plate this afterward? Can you chrome plate aluminum? I don't even know!

When I built my first bridge and vibrato assembly I didn't have anything other than photo's to go by so I made a scale drawing of what I wanted it to look like and started cutting out the parts. File, sand, steel wool then buff is the only way to finish aluminum. You can't chrome it. I used a hack saw to cut the channel sides down to what looked aesthetically right.

Here's a couple of photo's of the bass and guitar projects.

Very nice, thanks for the pictures! I was wondering, if you used brass, you could chrome plate that, right?

I also have to make a rosewood-metal tail piece and your picture gives me a great model, thanks!

Since you got the Mosrite bridge posts, you may want to get the bridge post inserts. inserts

I just did a search and that didn't pop up! Too weird. Anyway, I bought them, thanks!

Could I ask a favor? Is there any chance you could post the dimensions of the tail piece and the centering of the holes drill in it?
