Can't imagine, but I hope he makes a video of his acquisition, with snazzoid picking and funny side comments.

Are you kidding? The side comments will be included on the Meshuggah guitar instructional video included with every purchase!
How dare you presume to inject, using reproducible facts and rational thought, an on-topic discussion into a thread that had degenerated from sarcasm, personal invective, and hand-waving arguments?

It was recently pointed out to me that I should/could explain the title of the thread: its a bit of a play on words. We named our guitars "63 American" because 63 seemed to be the first big year for Mosrite, and 'American' because we couldn't think of any other clever title and also, symbolically, it represents that these guitars are actually built in the US from start to finish. Not just final assembly on US soil or anything else to that effect. The bodies, necks, vibratos, string-guides, spun knobs, and pickups come from our shop here in Sacramento, CA. We purchase all of our other hardware from a supplier in Southern California and another in Texas. The only parts that we suspect is imported are the less-expensive tuners we plan to use on the Standard model (Deluxe model uses Kluson), and the Rollermatic-style bridge.

Between M3 and Gun, we're lucky enough to have homegrown Twang on both sides of the pond. Add in Tym in Australia and you've got coverage on all major land masses except Africa. Any Mosriteers there?

As for a Meshugga guitar instructional video, be careful what you wish for - I'll get Stu, aka The Brooklyn Beat, set up to play rimshots for all the bad jokes I tell so that viewers will know what's funny.
Oy vey - it's MESHUGGA BEACH PARTY - The world's premier Jewish Surf Music Band!

What? Couldn't tell the logo is a link? So click here, what's the hold up? http://www.meshuggabeachparty.com

Mel, this is your chance to become the Dick Cavett of the Mosrite guitar community.

You cannot escape your destiny.

That is too cool! I've been waiting to see you get guitars into production--looks great! Hope your dad is doing well--I had my right knee replaced three weeks ago, and I'm hobbling around with a walker, so I know what he's going through! Once I heal up enough to drive, I need to come and check out your guitars--I'm about an hour's drive from Sacramento. Ooh, let's see--25-1/2" scale, 1-11/16" nut width, three pickups, sunburst with binding--sorry, I'm starting to drool...
