I saw that in our local obituaries, Dennis.......when I bought my Ovation guitar back in 1978, I was amazed to discover that it was invented by an aeronautical engineer........the fiberglass bowl was a new concept that I had never heard of........but Charles Kaman was the man....
I still have it.....nice guitar.....
