I was going to do some guitar practicing this morning. I'm trying to learn some licks from S. R. V. "Texas Flood."
I decided to use the Mosrite Celebrity. I'm so glad that I did! What an inspiring instrument! Awesome tone. Plays effortlessly. And, I think that somehow when I was nine years old, Semie new what my adult hands would be like, and custom built the neck for me alone!
What a lucky day for me when that guy in Michigan didn't like this guitar for finger-picking, and threw it on Ebay at the time that I happened to have some guitar funds saved up!

Re: Celebrity Practice
Thanks, D.T.M.
I bought it July 14, 2010.

I'm sleepy, and this is the only correctly sized photo that I can find right now. Sorry it's not a very good one.

Re: Celebrity Practice
Kerry, best of luck with Texas Flood. I'm a big SRV fan. I just finished with Life By the Drop and want to learn Boot Hill next.

Re: Celebrity Practice
SRV and Mosrite! There's a combination!
Sarah,
You may already know this, but if you don't, it could be helpful in mastering Boot Hill. Tune the G string up to G#. Play the riffs (rhythm) on the E, A and D, and play slide(leads) on the G#, B, E. Once you get the hang of it, you can really cook!
I will spare you the "get a Strat tuned down to Eb" routine.

I did not know that. Thank you very much for the tip! I have wanted a Strat for many years and just have not found the one for me for a price I can afford, at that time. I will one day though!
