Actually, I think they copied the ES-330. The ES-335 has a big ol' block of wood running down the middle. If Hallmark every chose to do a hollowbody, I hope they would do a Gospel. That would be sweet! Now I could design a bunch of those. ;)

I'd love to see a Hallmark Combo! I've always thought the Mosrite ones were cool. Sarah--Hallmark has a Gospel model, but it's not a hollowbody--it's basically a 60 Custom in white pearl with gold hardware, white pearloid pickguard, and blue pearloid pickups with white mounting rings. And the Gospel logo on the headstock, of course. Bob might be out of them already--I contacted him about getting some blue pearloid pickup covers and a white pearloid pickguard for my 60 Custom--the pickguard is available; the covers aren't--he said he had just enough for the initial run of Gospels. He does have black pearloid pickup covers, but I think I'll just wait until he gets more blue ones in--that would look really sharp on the Surf Pearl.

Yes, I remember that one. Ya'll have to forgive me, when I think "Gospel" I automatically think of a big ol' hollowbody. ;)

I also would love to see a Sidejack model of the Hallmark 60 Custom. It would bring out even more options for Mosrite style guitars to buy from Hallmark :D

We do have the 59 custom. It is a sidejack and has the 3 ply binding and comes in Sunburst, Cream White, and Black. They are very limited and once they are gone, they are gone. The hand polished american made sandcast vibrato is just to time consuming to do very many of. Check them out at www.hallmarkguitars.com pix of the white and black coming soon!

Once the '59s are sold, are there any considerations for a sidejack w. triple binding and a Shade vibrato and bridge (same as on the 60)?

We might do that. I am not sure. It is possible to put a Shade vibrato on the 59 custom, but due to the bridge heights and neck angle, it would have to have the flipmute style bridge and not the roller bridge.

Mosriteforever, thanks for the reply. I'm really stoked on Hallmark. I have a 60 Custom, and I've been trying real hard to keep my GAS under control. But I do see another in my future....

Mosriteforever, I am aware of the 59 custom. But I was thinking of like an actual '63 Mosrite copy. Like what strat-o-rama said.

I think the Combo would be a hit, I may be wrong but I have not seen any offered in the current Mosrite brochures. It would be something totally unique to Hallmark.
