Just found this site while googling all things mosrite.
Have been a rabid fan for some 45 or more years now...fell in love with the Ventures first time I heard "walk dont run" in 1963.Bought every album since.still like to get them out once in a while and play along.Still remember going into the local music store after school (mid to late sixties)and asking to play their mosrites. @ 400.00 they were to steep back then. Then when I came home from the military ,walked into that same store in 1974 and saw a 1966 Ventures model mosrite for 150.00.sunburst,top jack, moseley tailpiece top hat knobs with "m" logo.....serial #3850....still sounds great.(Looks to be the exact same as the one used at the top of your forum page)
have cherished it ever since. No rust,no major scratches, all chrome still brilliant.might try to send pics if I can figure out how to do it.....other stuff i own..66 dan electro /silvertone amp in a case model guitar...Framus acoustic (from military tour in germany)..peavy bandit 2 amp....1966 dan electro/silvertone 1482 amp...
thanks for a chance to share

Welcome Tom. You're not too far from me, I just built a garage in Murray about three months ago. Built it right down the road from the Briggs and Straton plant.
