Hallmark 59 Custom

I could be wrong, but I think my brothers 59 is the guitar that is pictured on the Hallmark web page. The wood grain looks the same on the front and it has what would almost look like a not on the back just like my brothers. There is a differences though in the hardware. The vibrato unit is not the same one. The one pictured on Hallmarks web page clearly shows the bearing with rollers showing. My brothers guitar does not have the rollers showing. I don't know what the updated system looks like so I can't say which is the new system. I am certain that it is the same guitar though because I don't see any other having the same grain pattern.

Yes you are correct Sir! You have the NAMM guitar! The dealer purchased that one from us at the show.

The bearings in the original high res image have the old bearings that were not working correctly. That is the reason you have the new bearings on yours. It is the same tailpiece with better bearings and a different piece of felt.

BTW, Buddy Dughi of the Hot Rod Trio just purchased a 59 in Cream White! Be on the lookout if you live in the LA area, go check em out!

Pretty close sleeperNY. But on closer inspection, your's is obviously a different instrument regardless of what you are being told.
Note that the selector switch on the NAMM guitar is in the center position while the one on your guitar is in the lead position.

Bob, I don't live in Calf. so I will have to pass on seeing Buddy Dughi in person.I am just up the road from you in NYS. I am glad to see it has the updated bearings and I'm sure the tuning deal is not a problem. It is a Great looking and playing guitar.

As for Don, I think he needs new glasses,LOL both selector switches are in the center position. Had it been in the lead position I would have known that it was a different guitar..LOL
