Gibson Country-Western Amp

Postby eltuce » Fri Jul 16, 2010 9:26 pm

Well...... As long as I was already posting in "other" I figure I might as well post this one. I believe they only made about 200 and who knows what happened to a lot of them over time. Usually they are in awful condition. This one's good but not perfect. Surprisingly loud for a little thing.

Have you played through any of the recent Gibson tube amps? We had one locally and it was awesome!

I've been messaging with Tym and I think I might be getting a Valvetone from him for the in home playing.

Cool amp.

Don't let that longhorn get loose!

My dad, back in the late 1950s/early 1960s, had an Oldsmobile that had that longhorn motif on the upholstery.

Too cool.

I know, it's already peeled off a bit but I don't know what, if anything, would be safe to use to glue it down better.
