.....LOL. As much as I love the Ventures this is way too corny for me. Somebody must have paid a fortune for this
.
When that is said 'Ventures in Space' is my favorite instro album of all times. The sound, playing and compositions won't get any better than that!

It certainly seems they're just going through the motions..."OK NASA, you wannaded this way, we'll do it for ya, what the heck"Dennisthe Menace wrote:ElTwang wrote:.....LOL. As much as I love the Ventures this is way too corny for me. Somebody must have paid a fortune for this.

Agreed, this makes Hee-Haw look good. This is more like "Ventures Spaced Out."

Those forced 'scripted' movements of Nokie especially, make me chuckle away..."corny" is the right word

Re: Ventures in Space the Movie!
but seriously, how many music videos have we all seen from the 1980's that were corny? I would say it's not a rare thing to find, heh.
Cheers,

Some sad news: Another loss of a great musician.
It's been a while back, I know but since we've also been talking about DAVID CARR in this thread, I decided to post the news of his passing here:

Veenture wrote:Thanks Dennis. BTW there's no mention of this video footage in the Del Halterman book of The Ventures. It was probably meant to help promote NASA's causeDennisthe Menace wrote:oops......my bad, must be a case of mistaken identity on my part...I apologize.
Not a big deal meng, just thought you might want to know.
Having published books myself, I appreciate how difficult it is to include everything, and have it be "accurate" to everyone's perceptions of the events portrayed. I am quite certain that Del made every effort to be comprehensive and accurate, but no one person ever gets the whole story... Which leaves room for a sequel...anybody?
