Got the Duo Sonic fired up today. Those unknown brand modified Strat pickups under the Duo Sonic covers sound fantastic. Definitely going to be a fun guitar. I'll wait until I put a finish on it before I post any more photo's as all you guy's know what a guitar in the buff looks like.

dubtrub wrote:The neck pickup comes through strong but really doesn't have that throaty Strat sound, more like on one of my Ellison Customs. The bridge pickup sounds more like a Tele, and both pickups together is just too cool. Maybe it's just because it is something new to me.
On another note, I just met a guy today that works at the surgery center with my wife. He has a new Gibson Les Paul and brought it over for me to check out. All I can say is, WOW!
