I'm not a tech either but I was a repair and warranty manager for a music store back in Virginia and used to service fender products, marshall/korg products, kurtzweil products.

it's too bad there's no tolex that comes in black with flames on it like your chuck taylors back in the day ;)

If they did I might be interested in it. I still got those chuck taylors somewhere. They might be at my parents house back in VA with a lot of my other things.

I know this is quite a dead thread, but did you ever finish the head build? Or the cab? Or possibly both!

No sir I had to abandon ship long ago. Funds fell short that and my family expanded :D
