Cheers Dorkrock, the sunburst combo looks great. I will have to check what taxes and duties apply, I know anything under a $1000 does not incur any duties. Has anyone out there imported from the USA to Australia. Also anyone own or play a combo bass ?

Hey Chris check out the brand new Japanese Mosrite bass on Aussie ebay. It's down in Melbourne and I gotta say I'm tempted myself!

Thanks for that Bill, I'm itching just looking at it. The person looks to have a pretty good record on ebay, its very tempting !! Nice price too, I will have to see how much cash I can scrape together.

That guy is also selling a beautiful Japanese Super Custom 64 with black paint-job and binding similar to what Rick Neilson is using in that Cheap Trick clip.
He's got a couple of beauties there.

Hey Bill, Just snared myself one of those beauties, the 65 custom bass. The temptation was too much to resist and for that price and I figured it would be better to cart a reissue around to gigs rather than a vintage one. The owner said he would try to get it sent today so now the wait begins....
