Thanks to everyone for the encourgement. There appears to be some confusion regarding my post. In my younger years the Celebrity III was my first Mosrite. I fell in love with the slim neck design and low frets. A few years later I came across the reworked Ventures Model [not original tuning pegs or pickups] in a music shop. 30 Seconds into playing, it was like I had been playing it all my life and I wouldn't let go. I can't explain. It just felt right. The owner did not want to sell , saying it was for his son. I haggled with him every day for 3 months until finally he let me have it [for a price]. I want to reacquire a Ventures Model. With the internet, I see I could purchase an expensive model from Ebay [questionable] Las Vegas, or Bakerfield. Still researching Elliot's version

I bought the Wilson brothers VM 110. 4 Months later I ran into Nokie Edwards at his nephews music shop in Puyallup Wash. and put money down to buy his Hitchhiker Guitar. After a year and a half he sent me his personal guitar. Both have their pros and cons, but neither stacks up to my old candy red Mosrite.

Welcome to the forum Speed Fret... Nokies Pesonal Guitar? Certainly can't go wrong there...
Again welcome and enjoy...
