Hello friends. I've been a Mosrite aficionado ever since I discovered that amazing narrow neck with strings so close to the fretboard they almost play themselves! I had Semie build me one of his Ventures II creations in 1988 and it's always been my favorite. I play country (Chet), jazz (Joe Pass) and ballad, pop, and Gospel music stylings. You can hear some of my original songs on littleguysmusic.com and dalestrand.com. I'll see about getting a pic of my "M" for posting next time I come by. Glad to be here and look forward to meeting you all. On, by the way -- Doug Brewer, from Bakersfield told me about this forum at our last Association of Christian Guitarists meeting! I'm glad he did.

Re: Newby from N. Calif.
Welcome to the forum! That sounds like a really interesting instrument you have there, I wasn't aware that Semie was making the Ventures II guitars then even by custom order. Are there any unusual features about the guitar compared to other Ventures II models? And sorry but is it the model that Johnny Ramone played? There's two different guitars under the Ventures II name. Johnny's is the earlier, Slab Body version and the later one is the German Carve version which is like an early Mark V. To not be confusing I call the Slab Body the Mark II and the later one the V2GC.
