Hey Roger,
if you after Mosrite t-shirts, keep an eye on eBay. Andy Moseley has been selling a few of the 1984 t-shirts. I bought a red one and it is very nice.

The 1984 shirts come from Andy Moseley and I believe they are the last that he has. I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality. Very nice cotton T-shirt.

Re: Mosrite Semie Original Patent Art T-Shirt
GTSP,
I can probably make the shirt for you if you are still interested.
Sarah,
Any idea if there is a copyright on the Patent # 3,237,502 artwork for the Mark I guitar or is it somewhat like Public Domain anymore.
Roger,
Would you mind saying how much the Mosrite Logo T-shirt you bought cost? Just trying to get ideas of what a potential price point would be.
All,
If we decide to make a Patent Art T-Shirt it would be in no way intended to compete with Mel's Mosrite Forum T-Shirts which he may be gearing up for another run of in the Off Topic section.

Those Mosrite forum T shirts that we had made up that Mel was selling was not intended as a business venture or money maker, it was a simple design developed and made available to forum members to promote camaraderie and to help identify other forum members at various events. If anyone wants to undertake designing a new Mosrite forum T shirt for forum members, please contact Mel and clear it with him.

Re: Mosrite Semie Original Patent Art T-Shirt
Dubtrub,
I was not thinking of making a new Mosrite Forum T-shirt design, I like that design the way it is. I just thought it would be interesting to try GTSP's idea of putting the Mark 1 Patent artwork on a t-shirt & was just 'testing the water' to see what other forum members think. If the general consensus is favorable, perhaps my wife (Mrs. LoveyX) and I could put together a prototype.
It would be a T-shirt with the graphic same as the one at the start of this thread. We would be doing this not for profit, we don't want to make money off of anyone. If we come up with an acceptable design, would you mind if we make it available to other forum members?

I did a search of the Copyright office and there are no copyrights to the drawing, nor any other copyrights related to Mosrite, Moseley, Mark I, etc. The technical drawing was part of the patent application, which is in the public domain and easily downloaded from the USPTO website. People print the drawing out on parchment paper and sell it on eBay so I'm pretty certain there are no issues at all of putting the drawing on a T shirt.
