A Gibson 335 copy. It has the same scale length as a regular 335. I may not be able to order at the moment but the durability of your cases sure has me interested.

My group Classic Ruins played a "Rat Reunion" show at the Cantab Lounge in Cambridge MA last weekend, and I brought my Hallmark C60. Follow the link below, and you will see a review of the show by Boston's oldest Fanzine: The Boston Groupie News. (since 1976.)
All of the groups at this event were Rat regulars in the 'Golden Age' of proto-punk, if there can be said to have been such a thing. Punk was not defined in those days, and some of us wore bell-bottoms and clogs, or dressed like James Bond or whatever other image took our fancy. There were no rules, no traditions.
All we knew was that we wanted to branch away from what existed before.
Rock photojournalist Paul Lovell, or 'Blowfish' as he styles himself, speculates that Classic Ruins sound better, and fuller, perhaps because of the Hallmark.
It transpires that he is not completely in the dark; he owns a german-carve MkII and an f-hole Combo. He bought the Mk II in the seventies because he could not afford any other Mosrite. He had been bitten by The Bug...

Hay guy's, Just reading some of the chit chat, and thought that it might be woth mentioning that stiff weather striping seems to work priety good for the muteing of the strings, don't know if anyone has tried this yet or not, but its about the same as using the heal of your picking hand.

I noticed the other day during a gig that the bar on the vibrato unit of my 59 Custom is very loose and wobbley.
Being a Telecaster guy before I got the 59 I'm pretty unfamiliar with Vibrato units. Before I go in and start tinkering.......how do I tighten this thing up?
Just wanted to ask before I go in and make the problem worse.

For my money the best solution to the loose trem problem was suggested by Bob Shade himself, which I believe is posted in one of Veenture's hot links.
That said, I had a few nights onstage with my Hallmark 60 in the last month, and it is now my hands-down main stage guitar. This is a Cadillac!
We played the Rat reunion at The Cantab in Cambridge Mass ( the original Rat location no longer exists) and no fewer than five people made videos of the event, including three on youtube under Classic Ruins that I've found so far of the first song alone, variously referred to as "Geraldine," Rat Reunion, and "Song 1."
To my chagrin, although the Hallmark received much favorable attention, it was misidentified as a "Mostrite Ventures Model!"
Anyway, if you can get around the noise of a digital-camera live recording of a loud show, you will see what this guitar is capable of. This is twang on overdrive.
At home I play this guitar every day through a little tiny amp turned to 1 and pick out gentle melodies, but in my band that's out of the question.
When I'm done, I put it down and sit back to ponder the world's really important problems...
Will the terrorists get us...? Will the Iceland ash cloud cause a nuclear winter? Will the Prez straighten out the economy?
All of these pressing issues pale to insignificance in light of the Big Question?
If Mosrite goes bigtime will I still have a shot at getting one?

Sumptin' else....today I'm going to practice a number of tunes together with my former bandmates and I'm taking my H60C along for all the Ventures tunes that I play. Whilst putting my git into it's lovely crocodile HSC this morning I discovered that pressing down the cover of the compartment where the headstock comes to rest on, all the way down at an angle, a MUCH more snugger fit is achieved. I'm so happy to have discovered this ...don't use the compartment to carry my groceries in anyway

I highly recommend you Hallmark owners out there to do the same thing with your's
