Hay guys I got two cents worth, I've done some spraying, had problems with gun adjustments fluid feed air pressure general type problems. With a little pratice you can paint like danny, In 10 years    No kidding it take a lot of practice, just like playing the guitar, if you don't use it you loose it.

I do so much spraying I'm always high off lacquer fumes lol. Pretty soon I will have killed so many brain cells that I'll forget how to play the guitar, heh.

hey guys,

this is a kinda a dumb question, but have any of you tried using those Wagner power painters? those things are suppose to be for house painting, latex paints, things of that nature, but I wonder if it could be used for guitars. thanks.

Those units are for blasting out thick paints like house paint. They will not work for lacquers or enamels used in finish work. For guitar finishes one needs a spray gun that will put out a fan of 'fine' spray with continuous even pressure.

Cool deal. I kinda figured it wouldn't be doable, but since I never used one I just thought I'd ask. Thanks Danny.
