Ed Elliott here, I'm working on a new line of hand-built guitars and basses that's a bit more affordable than my 59 and 63 models. "The RS Series" based on Ol' Uncle Semie's 61-62 Pre-Ventures proto-type, Mosrite's first Reverse Strat
design, the shape that started it all. The're going to avaliable in 1,2 and 3 pickup models
with and without Vibratos, and a Bass model, no extra charge for left-handed guitars and basses, all sorts of custom colors.
I'm taking orders now on a limited bases, I'll have some photos to show in a week or so.
Stay Tuned,
Eddy
I assume these will be similar to the one you had at Deke's show? That guitar felt like a dragster - stripped down to the absolute essentials in the quest for speed. This is very exciting news!
Oy vey - it's MESHUGGA BEACH PARTY - The world's premier Jewish Surf Music Band!

Howdy Mel,
You're exactly right, it's based on that guitar I had at the show, just cooler.
Here's a bit more of a sneek pre-view of "The New RS DeLuxe Model".
It's going to be loaded with 3 of my '59 dog-eared pickups, hand-machined
aluminum vibrato unit with Fafnir aircraft bearings, custom aluminum bridge with
flip-mute, each string notch has a graphtec inlay to eliminate that string sweak
common on most solid aluminum bridges, custom '62 style headstock overlay
and a custom Lucite pickguard. "Real Players".

Another EF Elliot masterpiece in the works.
I like the webpage, Ed. I'm sure there will be a photo gallery eventually for all of us to drool over?
