Hey, Marineabilly--

I bet I know what those setbacks were: SNOWZILLA!!!

I had a UPS truck get stuck trying to make a delivery to my house an hour or so ago. He had to have a wrecker come pull him out.

We got hammered Saturday with more than two feet of snow and have more coming tonight.

BOY HOWDY!!!

Welcome to the forum! You'll dig the Deke--they play great and sound terrific. One of my students had one, and I'd have it today if he hadn't sold it to someone else first. Good choice on the chrome hardware. Gold looks great when it's new, but chrome holds up a lot better. I'm soon to be a Hallmark owner too--I've got a sunburst 60 Custom coming as soon as Bob gets the cases in. With all the snow they got in the DC area recently, there's probably nothing getting in or out right now, but it shouldn't be too much longer. If my 60 Custom and your Deke are as nice as the Deke I played, we'll both be happy campers!

Thansk guys!! I'm thinking of posting a vid on it this weekend.

Hey, Marineabilly! Welcome to the club, (which I've been in for, like 2 days.) Are you still a Marine? My boy just finished his hitch after two deployments to Iraq in the One-Two.
Looking at El Tuce's DD, I'm guessing that your Hallmark has been held up because it takes longer to put Marineabilly on the fretboard.
Imagine if Rumplestiltzkin had been a customer...

I am still a Marine - I'm an Active Duty Master Sergeant with just over fifteen years. I've got two Iraq deployments under my belt (20 months total) and will be pushing out to A'gan soon.

Ha! I actually thought about putting SUPER CALA FRAGALISTIC EXPEALIDOSIOUS, but Mr. Shade said he'd sue me if I placed that order.

Hey! That guitar looks familiar.....oh yea, we made it.......darnn, I did not get any images of it before shipping her out. Would love to have some higher res shots if you are able to.

Thanks for everything and happy twanging!

Bob
