I have an original 60s FUZZrite, one of the early ones with the one-piece (footswtich-attached) PCBs. It would sound great, if the switch wasn't broken
. I found it in my grandpa's basement. He passed it on to me (it was his son's [note: his son is not my uncle]), and I was immediately in love with the sound. Great character for bass.I recently ordered one of the FUZZrite boards from Chris Mahoney (I think he goes here under the name Industrial
), so I'm pretty stoked. I plan on designing it to look like a vintage Japanese "lawsuit" FUZZrite copy with a suitably cheesy name (MEGAFUZZ perhaps, or maybe SQUAREfuzz). Anyone, pretty pleased to be here. Hit me up. Chris already has first dibs on checking out my FUZZrite.
