Thanks again, GattonFan. Come to think of it, if I really run out of patience in the next couple of weeks, an Eastwood Sidejack case should do the trick.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who is like that about cases! I have been making a pest of myself with Bob on that issue. He related the horror stories he has gone through in order to get first-class cases for his guitars, so I feel really bad, but I HATE not having a proper hardshell case for my instruments.

I was using a Modulus bass gig bag for my H60C for a few weeks, and that is a top-notch gig bag, but I switched to an ancient Epiphone bass hardshell case that really is a pain in the rump.

I play at practices or jams or at the office several times a week and I am so impatient for the H60C case to arrive!

The Hallmark cases have been shipped, I believe, so they should be in any day now! From what Bob has told me, they will be WORTH THE WAIT!!!

YAY!!!

No Jim, you're not alone, but unlike me, it sounds like you had Bob ship your 60c w/o the case. How did it make it to you?

I also feel for Bob and I'm glad the new cases are supposed to be so great. But more than eight weeks after paying for the guitar (no custom job or anything fancy) & case, I've still got nothing to show for it and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't feeling grumpy. :(

Hey, CookieMan!

>>How did it make it to you?

I drove over and picked it up! The Hallmark Worldwide Manufacturing Complex is six miles from my house!!!

I wouldn't worry, though. Bob is the straightest guy I know and you will be absolutely stunned when your H60C and CASE arrive!

As that Louisiana chef used to say on TV: I guarROWNtee!!!

 I remember that Creole chef guy - Justin Wilson, I believe!

Glad for the vote of confidence, and I'm sure Bob would be, too. If I lived 6 miles away from Hallmark Central, I guess I'd be strummin' rather than bummin'. Good things come to those who wait...

When I order my Custom 60 cases were out of stock so I had Bob send me one anyways. I'll never do that type of thing again it came Not double box the box was damaged both water and crumpled and a thin sheet of packing around the guitar. It had some finish dings but I kept it but will insist on a hardshell case when shipping from now on.

Whoa, thanks for the heads up, jtr654. I guess that means if I want my 60C to make it to me in decent shape, there's nothing to do but hold my breath and wait for Bob to get those cases in. If steam starts shooting out of my ears, you'll know why.

I had my Sheena shipped w/ out the case ( I just couln't wait. If I really want a case for it later, I can get one from their site when they come in). Mine arrived in perfect shape. Thats a bummer that yours arrived damaged. I would've sent it back for another one.

When I got the box I though it was really damaged but it was very minor it taught me not to be impatient. I talk to Bob and told him that they should at least double box the guitars if shiped without a case and packed much better than it was. The guitar is great I love the Custom 60 .

I received an email from Bob today saying the cases should be in on the 18th. I had my 60 shipped before the cases were there and it arrived in perfect condition but I'll be glad when I get the case. I'm using a gig bag right now.
