Ok, let me preface this by saying I am not a Mosrite expert. I will answer any & all questions as accurately & as honestly as I can. I ya'll have any details about this guitar, I'll post it. If I get corrected, I will quickly post the corrected. Here is what I know. I am not the original owner. The frets are original. The top 3 show some wear, but not too bad. It doesn't affect the playing. It comes with a hardshell case. The person from whom I bought this said it is the original. I will post a picture. The tag inside says THe Victoria Luggage Company, Inglewood, CA. There is a small scuff, about an inch long, by the knobs & there is a small, round ding that appears to have been repaired sometime in the past on the loser left of the front of the body. I've tried to capture these in the photos. There are no mods done of which I am aware. The tuners are original. They are the diamond shaped looking ones that are common on Celebrities from this time period, and not Klusons. There is no checking on the front of it & very minor on the back. This guitar is in great condition. I purchased this guitar from a small dealer that was selling it on consignment from the estate of the original owner. At least that was the story I was given.
As far as price goes. I'm not really sure. So I will ask exactly what I purchased it for. Price includes shipping UPS to anywhere in the US. The price I paid was an even $1,000.00.
