Mosrite clone/partsrite logo ideas

Postby oipunkguy » Fri Dec 11, 2009 11:02 pm

hey guys,

working on my mosrite clone, and had some questions. does anybody know the proper body thickness for a ventures one before finishing?

Also I dont want to put a mosrite logo on it, since it's not. but the name I plan on using is "Alderite" from my last name Alderman. My brother is helping with the graphic design and he seems to think I should try using a different font then the classic mosrite from the 60's. I kinda wanted to keep with the original font. what do you guys think????

thanks. :D
Cheers,
Aaron

I'd keep with the original Jazzy Font if it's going to be a Mosrite clone; they simply belong together IMO. This font was commonly in vogue in the early sixties and not surprisingly, the Ventures (and Semie) used it too.
