HELLO
My name is Andy Moseley--involved in mfg. MOSRITE OF CALIFORNIA guitars for years along with my Brother Semie Moseley. Semie was unequaled when it came to inovative, new designs. We had a younger brother Gayl Edward Moseley who worked at the factory as a teenager un till his life was taken by a logging truck. One other brother Jacky Stephen Moseley who also worked at the factory as a teenager and beyond. There are many stories about the family but I will just say---MOSRITE WAS A FAMILY OWNED AND OPERATED BUSINESS WHICH HAS GAINED WORLD WIDE RECOGNITION.
I was the oldest of the four brothers. Semie was 2 years younger than I.As most close brothers, we grew up together. We were performing in church and the gospel evangelistic music. Thats another story.
The second generation of 2 brothers came almost 18 years later --boy was my mom and dad surprised.
During his lifetime Semie came up with many unheard of ideas for guitar. Many have been used on guitars of today as standard. As my brother would say "MOSRITE FOREVER"------Andy

Welcome to the forum, Andy! I'm looking for my first Mosrite guitar now, I'm trying to find a Vintage Refinished Mark I. I'd like to have a Brass Rail too since they're so unique but that will probably have to wait a while.

Welcome to a great Forum Andy. I had a sneaky feeling that it could have been you with your "MOSRITE NUMBER ONE" appearance, all-of-a-sudden, but now we definitely know that it is indeed you, i.e. Andy MOSELEY. Good that you introduced yourself here; heard a lot about you (nothing but good
) and now you're a member too...one of us -dare I say! (that’s special ain't it?!).
Long live Mosrite and Semie's memory and legacy!

Hi Andy and welcome to this wonderful little forum! We are small but devoted. My first exposure to Mosrite was in 1987 while visiting San Francisco. I was smitten and it took me 21 years to find a Celebrity like the one I remembered! Your brother is a design legend in my mind.

Re: new member
Has anyone reminded Andy that the new forum member provides free vintage Mosrites to existing forum members as a sort of initiation fee?
Hmmm?
I am not in marketing for nothing, folks!
