Vintage Mosrite Book: Translate
The book 'Vintage Mosrite' was published in Japan about ten years ago. It features so many information about Mosrite, but all the text were written in Japanese language. So I'm willing to accept the translation if you want to know the contents. I wish I could translate many page, but I can manage to translate a few pages at a once. Please don't hesitate to ask me if you want to know what is described in that book.

Arpsum, if you find a copy of that book in Japan, I'd like to buy it. I had one lined up with a book store in Japan and when I placed the order, they wrote back and said they no longer have it. I have placed a wanted notice in our 'wanted' section here on the forum but got no response.

I wish I bought one more copy of this book from that guy in Ohio. I purchased mine on eBay from him and met with him in person last year at St. Charles Guitar show and purchased a few more books from him. (I think he had a few copies of this book left and asked for $80 at that time, I already had one so I did not buy it)
Hope Arpsum can get you a copy. Good luck.

Re: Vintage Mosrite Book: Translate
OK, arpsum, I now have a copy of that book and ready for translation.
Here's a thought. Would you be interested translating the text and caption under the photo's of each and every page? This would a big project and would take a long time, but in the end it would be fantastic to have this translated and readily available either on PDF of Microsoft Word. I could then add a link to it here on the forum for everyone to read or download. This would be an invaluable wealth of information and the only place that would have it would the Mosrite Forum.

First of all, I have to make a good deal of efforts to translate. But I need a plenty of time todo that, so please wait patiently.Even in Japan, this book was already discontinued. So we have to get it in second handed.

This is a great idea... Let's start from the begining and go in order translating each page (at your own pace of course) until it's done.
The book is pretty much a photo album to me at this time, I'd love to know what some of that stuff says.

I wonder if the Publishers (Japan?) are aware of how many Mosrite Collectors that
exist over here (let alone a WHOLE darn FORUM
) that would be VERY HAPPY
to pay for those Books in an English Version......

Well, hopefully one of these day's one of our Japanese speaking friends will take on this project of translating the book.
That would certainly be a boost to this forum.
