Danny if you put a strap button behind the standard neck it'll balance. I have a EDS1275 and it works there best for me and it's much more neck heavy than your double 6.

I'm a little late to the party, but had to extend kudos to Danny. That double neck is a work of art! I've stated it before: your 3 tone bursts are dead on to the "Mosrite look".

looks like you do some nice woork. do you make everything from scratch, that is the neck, body, truss rod ect. with the exception of the pickups and other electronic components, and tuning machines?

Yes, I make everything from scratch on each of my custom builds, neck, body, trussrod and pickguards. I normally use Ed Elliotts pickups (which he makes from scratch), I use CTS pots, and Switchcraft jack and 3-way switch. The chrome hardware I purchase commercially, however as seen in this project I have made the aluminum bridges and vibratos from scratch.

Check out all the photo's on this link especially the build of the blue burst and the build of the bass guitar. This should give you plenty to absorb. viewtopic.php?f=20&t=773

.....and also review Ed Elliott's posts and photo's. viewtopic.php?f=20&t=1581

That should pretty well cover the entire process.
