Unfortunately posthumous reviews don't do much for business (unless you're a vintage dealer).

yeah, i remember before the internet, finding a mosrite was near impossible. vintage guitar magazine didn't have reviews, but you could find dealer that were selling them. Always seemed too hard to get one. We had one shop that got mosrites in from time to time, and I could never afford them, and they seemed so amazing to look at in person.
anyway, I agree GP mag, has gotten pretty bad, I pick them up from time to time to check out new products, but I find myself buying that mag less and less.

It's the November Vintage Guitar, that just came out. It has an article about Johnny Ramone on pg. 80, and a "Mystery Mosrite" thing on pg.76, where some dude has a tricked out custom Mosrite with a "flame" paint job and a few odd features, that he thinks was custom made for Motley Crue.

Let face it when Mosrite had it's most popular days(63- 68) there were no guitar magazines. So most of the articles or reviews would be on vintage guitars. GP didn't start until the late 60's Downbeat sure wasn't going to review anything like R&R in their magazine.
