these are just too cool Bob. and both the road to ruin and sheena models will be in the 800 range according to the website. that's awesome! ramones fans are going to totally flip!
what about the pickups? are they copies of the original slab body ventures 2 pickups?

I'm totally in love with the 59 model too.

now, any chance you'd be makin a '66 joe maphis 6/12 double neck???? ;) :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Heh, I'm sure Hallmark would probably make some more unusual custom orders. Maybe something like a Mosrite Celebrity style guitar on request? Oh and the pickups are pretty much exact copies excpet for the wax potting. Great stuff. :)

Hey Bob, Just out of curiosity do you have any plans for a Hallmark 60 Custom Bass? I know I'd like one, Especially with a narrow neck similar to the original Mosrite Mark X. I have a Squier P Bass but the neck is awfully big and I think I could play better with a slimmer neck.

Also, I'm not sure but is it at all possible to have a Tune O Matic style bridge on the Sheena or would that cancel the proper string angle? I'm asking this because I thought of putting an aftermarket tremolo on that uses a Tune O Matic style bridge.

Have you seen or tried the sweptwing Hallmark bass? I thought that felt much like the old Mosrite bass I used to have. I don't know if Bob has any more of them but he had a blue one that . . . JIMMY WANTS!!!

Sorry oipunkguy, I don't think I'd want a Univox. I'm just going to either look for a Hallmark or Mosrite.

JimPage, I haven't tried the SweptWing bass but then again you have to remember, I live in the middle of "Nowhere, Pennsylvania". I did see a SweptWing bass on Pittsburgh's Craigslist for only $400 but I don't think I'll be driving down there soon. When I do go to Pittsburgh it is usually to visit relatives.
