yeah, don't worry, there are some different brand of "clones" and the Fillmores(or some of them) have some common issues like you can see from the pictures.
I contacted a friend of mine working at a "Audi car service " he'll came with some - car's injectors little washers and I'll put them on this evening.
If you doesn't fix the -shift -of the bridge you won't stay in tune a lot! thetr are almost 2 mm(sorry I live in Italy..) of space where the tremolo can shift up&down as you use the tremolo!!!!!
I know Gotoh- Sperzel are better, and helps, but I'm a freak of the look. 0.10 is my gauge as it came from the factory with the standard spring.
thanx to everybody 4 the helps

you might want to check out the kluson website, or even allparts. there's vintage style replacement tuners out there that has the closed shaft, and I think there;s even a locking verson of a vintage style kluson that could help you if you still have some tuning issues.

You might of missed this on the 1st page. I had posted:
Joe, if you are worried about routing larger hole for the tuners, you might want to
check out the Gotohs. They also make a Kluson "Klone" that fits into the 'existing'
holes. They are ALSO Locking Tuners (which work a little bit differently), but from
a distance, you'd swear they were just Klusons. ;)

P.S.
I already have a Set on my '65 P.W. They work! And I didn't have to destroy the Guitar!

Here's one more thing I did to help keep things in tune.

The bridge on mine rocks slightly when the tremolo is used and doesn't always return to the same position. This seems to in effect defeat the idea of having rollers on the bridge. I placed a small shim under the bridge on the tailpiece side to keep it from rocking. I used a plastic electrical twist connector and wedged it under the bridge. The result is the guitar stays in tune now!

The intonation screws rest against the pickup which keeps the bridge from rocking towards the neck and the shim keeps the bridge from rocking towards the tailpiece.

I was thinking of having some bridge posts made that would allow me to lock the bridge once it's at the right height, but for the time being, this works.

The 80s redesigned bridge posts are threaded the whole way up for exactly this reason. I'm sure there are some floating around in the various parts caches.
