Im actually going to buy a 62 jazzmaster.
It wont beat the mos but i allways wanted a vintage one.

a buddy has the 62 and will prob give me an ok deal,

another buddy has the one i would almost rather have, a 66 big block in oly white! the 66 es have a smaller more mos like neck.
he wont move on it.

Im just cleaning house. i have lots of stuff i dont really use so making some room in the gear room and freeing up some cash!

Nice looking cabinet. FYI, the blackface Showman is 24" wide, same as the contemporary Bandmaster. That's why your brown Showman sits over the thumbscrews. I've got a blackface Showman tone-ring cab and I had to move the thumbscrews to fit my brown Showman.

Good luck with the sale.

I've always wanted a Sunburst just like the Ventures had and when I had cash burning in my pockets, could not find a Sunburst quickly enough, was impatient and settled for a MIJ metallic CAR Jazzmaster. A real beaut but the strings kept dislodging from the bridge during play (I know: 10/46's) and the bridge was lowering itself bit by bit due to the string vibrations (height adjustment screws turned down by themselves). I didn't think of Locktite then and traded it in for a MIM Classic 50s Daphne Blue Strat. Good luck with your '62 Jazzmaster! (what colour?!)
