Early Mosrite flyer

Postby dubtrub » Sat Aug 01, 2009 7:00 pm

This is a very early flyer 60-63 (my guess) from Semie's shop on Panama Lane where he first met Nokie Edwards. This original flyer was inside the guitar case when I inherited my brother's '64 Ventures model. Notice the wooden pickup covers? Although the flyer is somewhat bigger than depicted here, I tried to get it to actual size so you could read it but was unsuccessful.

Speaking of Flyers and Ads, Artie at Front Porch Music has a binder full of old original Mosrites flyers. It's the next best thing to a Mosrite history book. Probably the only collection like it in the world.

BTW, if any of you have such material and can, please post it here on the forum.

Wow. Thank you for sharing. Someday, there will be a good book...but the saga is still being written.
