You mentioned going to D'addario 10's on your Hallmark 60 Custom. I was wondering if you made any other changes to the set-up that Mr. Shade provided.
After all of the work that I did to recover from that change of strings I am pretty much back to his set-up, possibly with a little less neck relief. The guitar feels and sound very good, but I was wondering if you might have done anything to improve on what Mr. Shade did.
Thanks, Don

Re: A question for Gplayer
I use D'Addario 10-46 on my 60 Custom. The set-up was perfect right out of the box. It has remained remarkably stable and has gone thru a number of string changes. Like someone else mentioned, I always change the strings one at a time so even tension is maintained on the neck: A trick I learned too many years ago from an old time jazz guitarist.
Last night I ran through a set of surf tunes, lots of trem dips and wavers, and never lost tuning until the end. I've never played a real Mosrite, but if they are anything like the 60 Custom, they are very stable guitars.
