I guess it does happen in threes.

Drake Levin the original guitarist with Paul Revere and the Raiders has passed away.

The first time I ever saw a Mosrite double neck was on TV being played by Drake Levin.

What is ironic is Mr. Bill had PM'd me not too long ago with a PIC of him playing his Doubleneck,
and we were discussing Drake under different circumstances. :(

Paul Revere and the Raiders played the first rock concert I ever went to, so Drake Levin was the first big-time guitar player I ever saw. RIP Drake.

The Raiders are still one of my fav bands ever. I saw Mark Lindsey a few years ago at an oldies show. ? and The Mysterians were there too, great band and he looks exactly the same! Mark closed the show and all I can say is if you get the chance to see him, by all means go. He still has the voice and looks great.

RIP Drake

That is so sad. They are the first band that I remember seeing on TV as a kid.

KICKS!!! -one of the coolest guitar riffs ever!

I think he played that riff on the 12 string part of that doubleneck.

RIP Drake.

R.I.P Drake.

I haven't heard any Raider songs, to be honest. I have to check them out.
