Broken trem arm

Postby jsmokebreak » Thu Jan 05, 2017 1:41 pm

Hello there,

I just received my first Mosrite type guitar. It's a 60's Morales. The tremolo is very similar to the Moseley, and the arm was broken in half when I got it.
So, I'm interested in buying an aftermarket replacement, but all I'm finding are vintage Moseley ones. What sort of options are there for just the bar? This one has a hole in it with the bolt going through the hole, but I imagine any type will work, provided the bolt is the same size.
Thanks - Jeremy

I sell both Moseley style and Vibramute style replacement arms. Can you post a pic so I can see which one you need? Is it the one that was on Ebay? I can take a look at that one for you.

Best vibrations! Bob

I just looked at the Morales on Ebay under completed listings. You need the Moseley replacement arm. I have them in stock for $69.00 plus shipping. Let me know if you would like one.

Best, Bob

Thanks Bob. It was actually one on Reverb, not sure if it's the same one. Here is the listing https://reverb.com/item/3493456-morales-mosrite-1960-s-white

It looks the same to me, but to be sure, what is the size of the mounting hole?

The hole in the trem arm is 3/16". Do you have a pic of the ones you have? I'm assuming it's like the one on your '59 custom?

Ok thank you Bob! I still need to asses how much extra I want to spend on this thing, and I will definitely be in touch if that's the case. Thanks a bunch!
