Mosrite Mark X (c.1972)

Postby Mastermold » Thu Oct 06, 2016 2:53 pm

Recently bought this (my first Mosrite) from Elderly Instruments in Lansing Michigan, and they took such nice photos of it I thought I'd share:

From what I've been seeing, these red bursts appear to be less common than the traditional 3TB, which is cool. I've got it at my luthier right now for a set up with new strings (D'Addario Chromes--I prefer flats) and he's checking everything out. I hope to have it back in action next week. I already took it to a gig (last weekend) and it sounds great!

Thanks! I'll have to see about posting some gig pics, the bass sounds great live.
