Hi I'm Mike, and I live in the French Quarter. I'm an avid guitar collector, trying to become a guitar player, and am pursuing the purchase of a Mosrite. I love vintage, and the Ventures, so I am looking for a Mosrite guitar for that era.

Love that town! Welcome
The gangster looks so frightening, with his luger in his hand
When he gets home to his children, he's a family man
But when it comes to the nitty-gritty, he can shove in his knife
Yes he really looks quite religious, he's been an outlaw all his life

Re: Greetings from NOLA!
Welcome. There are a number of models to choose from:
Celebrity (And there are various models of this guitar, see http://www.mosritecelebrity.com for more details) :

Combo (Though this one is in a color I haven't seen many of)

MK I (This type is also sold as a Ventures model though the one pictured is a MK I as it doesn't have a Ventures logo. Also, This is a re-issue model.)

MK V (The smaller Ventures guitar and later just sold as the Mark V):

There are more models than I posted photos of such as the Bluesbender, 350, M88 and V88 and a few factory-made Acoustics from the 1960s that I've heard tend to need repairs when people get them lately.
