and a neat story of how I attained it... I work at a pawn shop.. well, since December anyway, and this beauty had been there for a while. It was there before I started working there but I had been drooling over it for round about a year now.Anyway after pointing out that the asking price VS the actuality of issues : missing tremolo arm, after market scratch plate, loose bridge pickup, probably needs a slight neck shim and the case is held together with duct tape and luck, I pulled a deal with my boss to swap for my Epiphone ES 295. I suspect he only went for it to shut me up and to get the guitar out of the store so I would quit staring at it and actually get some work done LOL.

Thanks for the photos, It looks nice to me and is bigger than I would've thought at first. How do you like the neck? I find the neck works for me well on my Ventures II. The Brass Rail neck works too but it's bigger.

Are the frets original? If you have a digital caliper that reads in inches, They should be under 25 thousandths of an inch tall. (.015 on the treble side, .022 or so on the bass side and .070 wide for my 1966 Ventures II.)

Regards,

- Austin
