1965 Slab Mosrite Ventures II

Hi Ed Kelly here from New Jersey and I am new to the Mosrite forum. I have been a Mosrite fan for 30 years and have been looking for a 1965 Slab body Mosrite ventures II. I finally found one 2 weeks ago in New York state.
It is blue and all original including the case.The serial # is B051 and I bought the guitar from the original owners son.I am abosolutly in Mosrite heaven!!!!
I can see why Johnny Ramone loved these excelent guitars.I would like to find out as much information as I can about this guitar and meet other Slab Body Mosrite Ventures II fans.I am 50 years old and have been a die hard Ramones fan since I was 15 years old.I will try and post some pics of this guitar soon. Hope to meet some other fanatics soon.....

Looks like that guitar did wind up being sold. I had an email or two back and forth with the seller, he said a guy from New Jersey might come and buy it. Then he just blew me off and stopped responding (how hard is it to respond and say "SOLD").

Congratulations, I hope you got that ugly sticker off without any problems.

Sorry that happened to you....The seller told me that he was talking to some one from Germany about the guitar.
Thanks for the kind words...I did get the flower sticker off but it was hiding some chips underneath.....oh well its part of the original patina.I polshed it up and had a set up done and it looks and played great
I would like to post some pics but cannot figure out how to...any advise?
